¡Bienvenidos! Welcome!

I’m Kennia Coronado, PhD, and I am a Woman’s Leadership Post Doctoral Research Associate at Texas Woman’s University. Before TWU, I was a Predoctoral Fellow in the Department of Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. I received my PhD in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

I specialize in American politics with substantive research interests in the political behavior, political communication, and the political representation of Latinos, immigrants, and racial/gendered minorities in the United States.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Latin American, Caribbean, and U.S. Latinx Studies along with a double minor in Portuguese and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

In my free time, I enjoy being in the community, swimming, cooking my favorite dishes, and visiting my grandfather’s farm.

I use she, her, and ella pronouns.
